Daffodil International College celebrated the 49th Victory Day on 16 December, 2019 at the college campus paying deep homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in Liberation war, 1971.

To commemorate the day, a discussion and cultural program was held with the participation of the students, teachers and faculty members. The program started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and ended up with the valuable speech of Lt. Col Md. Zahirul Islam (Retd), Principal, DIC. In his speech, he recalled the contribution of the Father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and all valiant freedom fighters in liberation war of Bangladesh and encouraged the students to uphold the spirit of victory in their personal life and to be responsible in their duties so that they can be able to become the worthy citizens of Bangladesh.
