A virtual discussion meeting on ‘Creating awareness against Coronavirus’ has been arranged in DIC, Chandpur
In order to raise awareness among the students and parents about the devastating form of Coronavirus across the country as well as the whole world, a three-day virtual discussion meeting was organized by Daffodil International College, Chandpur on 28, 29 and 31 July 2021 at 7:30 pm. The sessions were presided over by the Heads of the respective departments. Principal Md. Zamshedur Rahman delivered the keynote address. Md. Faisal Ahmed Faraji, Assistant Vice Principal (Academic & IT) and Al-Amin Talukder, Assistant Vice Principal (Administrative) delivered their valuable speech as special guests. Ibrahim Khalil Helal, lecturer in Bengali, moderated the session superbly. At the beginning of the program, Md. Faisel Ahmed Faraji, Assistant Vice- Principal and ICT lecturer presented a series of awareness slides to create awareness among the parents and students. The parents of the students expressed their satisfaction about the activities of DIC Chandpur during the Pandemic situation. They praised the online classes, class tests, taking multiple choice and creative exams through Smart Edu, online attendance, regular contact of guide teachers etc. It has to be mentioned that in the beginning of the Coronavirus breakout, the Government closed all educational institutions on 16 March 2020. Daffodil International College Chandpur started teaching online from 19 March 2020. Initially, we used to take online classes on Facebook, but since May, we have started two-way classes, exams, etc. through Smart Edu and people from all walks of life praise the effort highly.
