Day long ‘Daffodil Family Day-2018’ held with various colorful gala events on 21^stDecember, 2018 at Swadhinota Milonayaton of permanent campus of Daffodil International University, Ashulia, Dhaka. Around 2500 employees of 35 sister concern of Daffodil Group took part in the program.  The most important event of the day was to form Human Map of Bangladesh with the participants of the day. The Family Day was also included with various events like painting competition, cricket, football, Badminton, biscuit run with participation of employee’s children,  enjoying different rides , cultural function and prize giving session etc.

Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Daffodil Family distributed at least Tk. 2 lac as prize money among the best performer employees of Daffodil Group through which the winner will get opportunity to buy their choiceable items from the Start Up set in the venue to promote start ups within Daffodil Group. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family, Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Dean, Permanent Campus,  Mr. Mohammad Emran Hossain, Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Daffodil Family were also present at the program. In the program Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, DIU handed over a photograph to Dr. Md. Sabur Khan as felicitation of his tremendous achievement locally and globally like Vice President of AUAP, Daily Star ICT person of the year Award etc. The whole program was conducted by K M Ripon Hasan, Advisor, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI).

While addressing on the program Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said that Daffodil is not a organization rather it’s a family. Employees are working here as a family member. This family day has been arranged due to increase interaction, collaboration and bondage within the family members of Daffodil Family. He expressed his hope that Daffodil will reach to the top of the triumph with the dedication and contribution of these employees as previous.
