On 23 September Daffodil Polytechnic Institute signed an agreement for students & guardian life insurance with Pragati Life Insurance Limited to ensure risk free diploma engineering education. With this agreement, DPI for the first time among the Polytechnic Institute in Bangladesh ensured that no student lost the opportunity to study in DPI in case they face any sudden accident or death of their parents.

It has been seen that during the 4 years of study of Diploma in Engineering few of the students drop-out from their study for the various reasons and unfortunate accident or death of parents and as a result they fail to continue their study.  Considering such accidental issues, DPI for the first time initiated this facility. From the 2020-21 academic session of  diploma engineering, all students will get this facility.

A virtual signing ceremony and celebration program was organized using an online platform with students and parents to share the good news and opportunities with the DPI Family. The Honorable CEO of Daffodil Family Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Managing Director and CEO of Pragati Life Insurance Ltd. Mr. Md. Jalalul Azim and Honorable Principal of Daffodil Polytechnic Mr. KM Hasan Ripon was also present in this program. The new initiative has been highly appreciated by the guardians at the end of the program.
