DTI arranged an online exam for the first time in Bangladesh as a polytechnic!
Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) made history for the first time in Bangladesh as a polytechnic under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) by arranging an online test of 338 students simultaneously where students joined in the exam from their respective homes due to coronavirus on Sunday, April 05, 2020.
Last month, educational institutions were declared to shut down by Govt. indefinitely to prevent coronavirus infection. Thinking about the safety and uninterrupted learning of students during this crisis, Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) immediately announced the continuation of classes for students and started online classes from March 18, 2020. It allowed students to easily participate in their daily classes through its own blended learning platforms from home. And to that success, their mid-term preparation test was conducted online. This is a unique example of keeping education dynamic during any crisis, adopting the blessings of technology.
Respected parents showed their gratitude and said that “during such a critical time, DTI has made decisions wisely, thinking about the safety of students by providing the opportunity to attend online class and to test the students for attention by taking examinations which they can attend from home, which is praiseworthy that will boost students’ immune system to fight to any diseases. Even many reputable organizations could not take such steps. This is one of the unique features of DTI for which we are always grateful to the authorities”
