The Falgun and Pitha festival, 2020 took place on 13^th February 2020 (Thursday), at the campus compound of DIIT. The program commenced with a warm welcome by the students of DIIT. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO, Daffodil Family graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program was presided over by Dr. Mohammed Shakhawat Hossain, Principal, Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) as well as the Heads and Coordinators of BBA, CSE, BTHM, MBA Programs respectively.

The event was inaugurated by the chief guest and opened the floor for all. There were several stalls full of varieties of Bangladeshi pitha. After visiting the stalls chief guest said, “This festival represents the tradition and taste of Bangladesh in one single event and this kind of event is a must, not only to taste traditional foods, but also to introduce the new generation to our Food culture and heritages.”  He added “Daffodil always focuses on engaging the students in a huge number of activities and expressed his deep satisfaction to see DIIT is practicing the traditions with colorful programs by the students.

The event was concluded by a wonderful cultural event by the students of Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT).
