To empower the Mother and develop them as an Entrepreneur “Mompreneur Haat” a day long event was organized. The objective of the event was to give a scope to the creative mothers to marketise their product. ‘Mompreneurs Haat’ was inaugurated by the chief guest Madam Shamima Shahriar, Honorable Member of Parliament, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh at 71 Milanayoton, DIU on 21^st July, 2019, Sunday, at 9:30 am. The programme was organized by Daffodil International School with the able support of the Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Bangladesh Skills Development Institute.

 On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Lafifa Jamal, President of Bangladesh Robot Olympiad was present as the special guest. A number of mompreneurs (mom entrepreneurs) participated in this event. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Honorable CEO of Daffodil Family and KM Hassan Ripon, Executive Director of BSDI presented their vivid and encouraging speeches to the mothers and audience. Dr Md Mahmudul Hassan, Honorable Principal of DIS & convener of Mompreneurs Haat gave a warm welcome to all. The whole event was anchored by Mr Mahmudul Haque Bashar, IT Coordinator of DIS and Coordinator of Mompreneur & Mr Atikur Rahman, Research Associate, Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, DIU.
