Daffodil Robotics Lab of Daffodil International University (DIU) has launched two different Professional Robotics Courses titled “Humanoid Robot Development” and “Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Design & Development”. The courses will be conduct by renowned trainers from India, Nepal and Srilanka and as well as the faculty members of Software Engineering Department of DIU.

The opening ceremony of ‘Professional Robotics Courses’ was held on 28 October 2020 where Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest. Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Head, Department of Software Engineering, Lahiru Farnando, Uipath Community Lead, SriLanka, Priam Mandal, Director, Sales – Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Eastern India, Karnataka at UiPath, Basavadarshan GN, Program Manager, Uipath Academic Alliance, India were present as the special guests. Presided over by Dr. Imran Mahmud, Associate Professor of SWE, the program was also addressed by Kaushik Sarker, Associate Head, Department of SWE and Hafizul Imarn, Supervisor of Daffodil Robotics Lab. The course registration is going on and Seats are limited. Classes will be started from November, 2020.

While addressing as the chief guest Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said that robot will be replacement of those people who are not interested to do work and not to cope up with technological revolution. During the pandemic COVID period, most of the European countries have started to use robot in large scale. In future the usages of robot will be increased. So, we have to learn robotics process automation.

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan also said that if we can’t introduce the time demanding courses, our student will not feet for the future job market. That’s why Daffodil International University always try to design time demanding courses like RPA which will make the students skilled. Caption: Dr. Md.
