10 member DIU delegate meets Cabinet Minister of Srilanka and visits ‘Temple Trees’
Students & faculty members of Daffodil International University visited the residence of Prime Minister of Sri Lanka ‘Temple Trees’ & met Mr. Sagala Gajendra Ratnayaka, Member of Parliament of Sri Lanka who is currently Cabinet Minister of Project Management, Youth Affairs & Southern Development recently. Mr. Sagala is also a renowned politician of Sri Lanka and former Cabinet Minister of Law and Order & Southern Development & also Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff. During the meeting, DIU delegation shared their experiences, learning as well as discussed both country’s socio-cultural aspects.
10 members DIU team visited Sri Lanka for ten days long Youth Exchange Program 2018 hosted by National Youth Services Council (NYSC) under the Ministry of Youth, Sri Lanka. This is the 2nd Bangladesh-Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Program which was initiated last year under a bilateral agreement DIU & NYSC to continue every year with a view of empowering the youths of both countries.
