DIS Dhanmondi held its first Parents-Teachers’ Meeting (PTM) for the session 2020-21. The meeting was a video conferencing through Google Meet.

It was a discussion platform on students’ learning and developmental progress.

Assistant Vice Principal of DIS Dhanmondi, Mrs. Mohsina Sharmin Nishat, welcomed the parents, addressing them on the issues to be discussed. Presection Coordinator, Mrs. Dilshat Mainuddin, followed with a short speech on students behavioral aspects in this unprecedented lockdown, which was followed by a short speech from Junior Section Coordinator, Mrs. Samira Sharmin, addressing distant learning process and students approach towards accepting it and Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Jenat Jahan, concluded speech giving session through her briefing on students’ presence in regular classes, maintaining a positive & disciplined life of students, performance in monthly assessments and other academic aspects.

Later, the Honorable Principal of DIS Dhaka, Dr. Md. Mahmudul Hassan conducted a discussion session with parents, which was full of overwhelming gratitude and appreciation from parents for DIS Online Learning. He also discussed other platforms to be introduced for better interactive lessons for the students.

The meeting was concluded with the vows for the best non-stop learning process for the young learners during this crisis.
