On 30th June 2019, Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized a special event “Culinary Skill Competition” for the female trainees of BWCCI-SEIP initiative for Entrepreneurs Development project at Bangladesh Skill Development Institute at its country Headquarter at Agargaon. Honorable Country Director of ADB (BRM) Mr Manmohan Prakash formally announced this event after his visit at Bangladesh Skill Development Institute. Total 25 Participants took part in this competition, in five groups and prepared five different dishes. They served the food among all the officials of ADB for assessment. The assessment was done by the ADB officials and announced the winners name based on their tastes, food values, presentation, preparation, hygiene factor, serving standard and group presentation. All the officials highly appreciated the training standard and participants skills and enjoyed the event. The active and pleasant participation of the Country Director made this event very live. A special assessment form was designed for the individual to mark on it and winners name was announced based on the marks given by the ADB officials. The Honorable Country Director and his The Country Director has announced the winner’s team name. Total five team received the award and one has been awarded best performance award. Mr. S M Ebadur Rahman, of ADB coordinated the entire event for ADB. At the beginning of the event the Honorable Country Director delivered his speech and expressed his deep satisfaction on BSDI. He also thanked BSDI team. Mr. KM Hasan Ripon the Executive Director of BSDI expressed his gratitude to ADB and Honorable Country Director for organizing the event. He said “this event will grow the confidence among the participants” 

Among others, Mr. Jalal Ahmed, EPD (Additional Secretary), SEIP project of Ministry of Finance, Govt. of Bangladesh, Mr.MD. Fazlul Bari, DEPD, SEIP project, MS Dilruba Shaheena, AEPD, Mr Pejush Kanti, Project coordinator, BWCCI and Mr K M Hasan Ripon, Executive director were also present in the event.
