Daffodil International College arranged ‘Annual Sports Competition and Prize Awarding Ceremony-2020’ at ‘Green Campus’, DIU, Ashulia, Savar on 14 January, 2020. 

Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO, Daffodil Family and Chief Guest of the event formally inaugurated the sports competition where Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Dean, Permanent Campus, Major Arman, Project Director, DIU, Lt Col Abdul Gaffar, Director, Safety & Security, DIU were als0 present as the Special Guests.

The program began with the declaration of the opening ceremony by Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO, Daffodil Family. The inauguration became more colorful while releasing the balloons and the pigeons, in the sky. 

Then two students of class XI, Md Munna Hossain and Tamanna Afrin lit the torch and moved around the playground. This torch-lighting symbolized the energy and vigor of the competitors.

There were 12 events in which students took part according to their own choice. The spectators enjoyed the excellent performance of the participants. The Principal of DIC, Lt Col Md Zahirul Islam (Retd) handed over the prizes among the winners and gave speech. The program ended at 5.30 pm with the satisfaction and contentment of the students.
