Pahela Baishakh celebrated at DIA

Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla year, was celebrated amid traditional festivities and enthusiasm. The festivities began at dawn on 14 April 2019 with the students and teachers from DIA. The day’s 1st program was started with Tagore’s famous song ‘Esho hey Baishakh, esho, esho’ as a chorus.  Students of the Daffodil international Academy and Department of CIS, DIU, have decorated the campus with traditional symbols and items. Different cultural programs had also been organized by the cultural club.

“On 24 April 2019 (Wednesday), a workshop on Python was held at Bijoy Milonayaton, Daffodil International Academy (DIA), which was conducted by DIA’s premier instructor & senior-most faculty Mr. BM Nazmul Haque. More than 150 participants attended this 3 hour-long event where they were introduced to the Python language and Python’s web development framework Django. It was announced on this occasion that the 1st batch on Web Development with Python will commence @ DIA from early May”.
