Daffodil Education Network (DEN) organized a 4- day long virtual admission fair titled ‘Edugate’ for the first time of its kind in Bangladesh from 3-6 February 2021. Aiming to introduce the students with inventions and innovative teaching learning opportunities during Corona pandemic and post pandemic ‘New Normal’ situation for career planning, DEN has organized the fair through a virtual platform. 31 branches of 20 educational institutions of Daffodil Education Network took part in the fair. Visitors got the opportunity  to know the details of any sister concern of DEN staying at home through the virtual platform. On the other hand, educational institutions also got opportunity to reach to the target audience setting up virtual stalls in the fair. There were lots of virtual consultative seminar, symposium and workshop on higher education and counseling.

A formal meet the press session was held on January 8 at a virtual platform whichwas addressed by Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Daffodil Family. Mr. K M Hasan Ripon- Executive Director of BSDI moderated the session, where Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, Additional Registrar, Daffodil International University, Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayear, Convener of the fair, Dr, Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Principal, Daffodil Institute of IT and Mr. Rathindranath Das, Executive Director, Daffodil International Professional Training Institute (DIPTI).akso gave speech. 

Skill.jobs and CDC were the Career partner of this fair while Human Resources Development Institute (HRDI) was the Seminar partner and Spiralworld.biz was the event partner.

During this disruptive time of pandemic, the nation witnessed a lot of innovations, inventions in education systems & teaching learning methods and technology and this fair was the single place for students and guardians to get their required information about the latest education systems and teaching learning technologies. 

Students and their guardians got information about the admission procedure, scholarships, industry academia linkage of Daffodil Education Network. Students got the  opportunity to develop network with industry leaders and participate in seminars, symposiums and workshops. There were a virtual chatbot, to  answer  all questions.
