To ensure secured and risk free quality higher education for the students and to bring them under the scheme of Pragati Life Insurance Limited providing Group Life Insurance & supplementary Accidental Death Benefit, Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pragati Life Insurance Limited on January 26, 2021 at VC Office of the university. Mr. Mominul Haque Majumder, Treasurer, Daffodil International University and Mr. Md. Rafiqul Alam Bhuiyan, Deputy Managing Director of Pragati Life Insurance Ltd. signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. 

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Mr. Rezaul Karim Masud, Senior Assistant Director (F&A), Mr. Rasel Prodhania, Senior Assistant Director (F&A), Mr. Zonador Rahman, Accounts Officer of Daffodil International University and Mr. Syed Hasan , DGM of  Pragati Life Insurance Ltd.  

Under this agreement all the students of Daffodil International University will be brought under risk coverage (Death Benefit, Survival Benefit and Supplementary coverage through Group Life Insurance. Earlier, in 2016, Daffodil International University signed an agreement with Prime Islami Life Insurance Ltd. regarding this issue for 4 years teneour. After completion of that agreement Daffodil International University recently made this agreement with Pragati Life Insurance Ltd.
