Country’s leading ICT conglomerate Daffodil Family launches ‘Virtual Gate’-the first ever 3D virtual events platform in Bangladesh. The platform was jointly developed by Daffodil Computers Limited and Spiral World Malaysia. Technical support provided by the Multimedia and Creative Technology Department of Daffodil International University. The platform features seminar rooms, exhibition areas, plenary sessions, plenary areas, networking areas, education fairs and a variety of stalls. Beside these, any organization willing to provide information virtually can use this platform.

The launching ceremony of the ‘Virtual Gate’ platform was announced today on May 30, 2021through a ‘Meet the Press’. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Group CEO of Daffodil Family and Bangladesh Representative of Spiral World Malaysia launched the ‘Virtual Gate’ as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Allayer, Head, Department of MCT of DIU & Chief Technical Officer of Spiral World Malaysia, Md. Salah Uddin, Project Director of Spiral World Malaysia and Md. Jafar Ahmed Patwary, DGM, Daffodil Computers Ltd. also spoke on the occasion.

While addressing as the chief guest, Mohammad Nuruzzaman said Daffodil Computers Limited is a partner of Spiral World Malaysia in Bangladesh. ‘Virtual Gate’ is a virtual event platform and two events in Bangladesh have already been completed with great success through this event platform. One is Edugate, an Admission Fair and the other is national program Digital Device and Innovation Expo (DDIXPO-2021) where President Abdul Hamid and some ministers of the Government joined the program. He also said we believe that the ‘Virtual Gate’ platform will be very well received not only nationally but also internationally.

Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Allayer in his presidential speech said that this virtual platform has the same system as the way we visit different stalls and collect different information by going physically to an event. Any visitor will get the feeling of visiting the stall directly. Two events have already been successfully completed through this platform that had more than one lakh visitors.
