The Girls programmer team ‘DIIT_Code_Pirates’ of Daffodil Institute of IT has achieved the 90^th position among 2000 participant teams in the online selection phase of the upcoming National Girls Programming Contest (NGPC) – 2019, organized by DIU. 

The preliminary test was held on 19^th October, 2019. The team consisted of 3 members- Tanjila Chowdhury Orpe, Ressma Akter and Evana Perveen Eva.  To motivate female programmers of Bangladesh, DIU has been organizing NGPC since 2015. The team DIIT will participate in the upcoming NGPC-2019 finale. The honorable principal of DIIT congratulated the contestants for their success. DIIT hopes that this achievement will inspire other girls of DIIT as well as the girls in our country to participate more in such contests and show their ability to the world.

It may be mentioned that DIIT always encourages the students to develop the ICT Skills. DIIT believes, it is high time to bring our girls forward to keep pace with the development activities of the IT world.
