Daffodil International University (DIU) obtained 1^st position among Private Universities and 5^th position among private and public universities in Bangladeshforits outstanding performancein research publications in Scopus Index in 2020. Thishas been announced at the website of Scopus. In Scopus last year’s number ofpublications of Daffodil International University is 385.

Earlier Daffodil International University also obtained first position for its Scopus indexed publications in 2019 among the private universities in Bangladesh.

Daffodil International University, a promising private university in Bangladesh cultivates quality education and research for sustainable development of the teaching and learning practices of the university. The university has created a congenial environment for the faculty members and the students for doing research in a collaborative manner and networking with the local and foreign universities.

As a young university in Bangladesh, DIU maintains academic collaborations with about 400 universities worldwide. Every year, the research outcomes of this university are indexed in Elsevier’s Scopus which is the largest abstract and citation database of peer reviewed literature across the world. The World University Rankings like, Times Higher Education and QS collect research achievement of the ranked universities from Scopus. Beside this DIU has obtained 6^thposition in QS raking in 2019 in the Asia.
