Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University (DIU) conducted a Master Class on ‘Entrepreneurship in Action’ today on 10 October 2020 at Jagran Lakecity University (JLU)  in India through a webinar where a large number of students from JLU actively attended. The webinar was moderated by Professor Diwakar Shukla, Dean, Faculty of Journalism and Creative Studies LU, India. During the class Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said that entrepreneurs are like a captain. Entrepreneurs have to have the capacity to lead the whole team as the captain. That’s why entrepreneurs have to become as visionary as captains, he said.

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan inspired the students wished to be entrepreneurs and urged to have the qualities of risk management, patience, skill development, foresight, perseverance in achieving goals and so on. At the same time he/she must have knowledge about technology. At present, it is impossible to be an entrepreneur during pandemic like Covid-19 without having proficient in technology, he added.

Referring to Daffodil International University as an entrepreneurial university, DIU Chairman also pointed out that the University has many initiatives to develop students as entrepreneurs: like Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department, Employable 360 Degree Course, Start Up Market, Venture Capital, ISBSP, Get in the Ring Competition, Are You the Next Start Up Competition, etc.
