Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University recently positioned as the Advisory Board Member of Eurasia Higher Education Summit EURIE. The summit will be organized by EURAS – Eurasian University Union and it will be held on March 3-5, 2021 through a virtual platform. Among the other members of the advisory board is Prof. Dr. Mahmut AK, Rector, Istanbul University, Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President, EURAS, Mr. Ivor Emmanuel, Director, University of California Berkeley and others. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan is the only member from Bangladesh among that twelve-member board. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan is also serving as the 1st Vice President of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), one of the largest educational organizations in the world.

Though the EURIE summit is held in physically in every year, but it is being held virtually this year due to the Corona epidemic. This year’s summit will include 50 sessions on internationalization of higher education and management of higher education. It will be attended by professors, researchers, academics and leaders from different universities around the world.

It may be mentioned that EURAS is a non-profit organization founded in 2008. Around 120 educational institutions from 50 countries from the globe are involved with this organization. The organization works for the development of education and the internationalization of education in Europe and Asia region.
