DTI students achieved 2nd and 3rd place in 41st National Science Olympiad 2020
On November 9, 2020, the 41st National Science and Technology Week and Science Olympiad 2020 competition was held at the premises of Kurmitola High School and College, organized by the Dhaka District Administration and sponsored by the National Museum of Science and Technology.
There are more than a hundred organizations participated in this event in three categories, named as a senior, junior, and special category. Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) students participated in this event in two categories with five projects – E-Meet, Sound Transmission by WiFi, Cooler and Heater, Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser and Account App for Local Farmer.
In the competition, the students of DTI achieved 2nd place in the category of “Creative and Sustainable Project” for “Cooler and Heater” and 3rd place for “E-Meet” project. And received prizes and certificates from the honorable chief guest.
Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Deputy Commissioner, Dhaka was present as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the competition.
Mr. Shahnaz Sultana, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Education, and ICT, Dhaka, and Md. Benazir Ahmed, District Education Officer, Dhaka were present as special guests.
The closing ceremony was presided by Mr. Bir Muktjoddha Alhaj Md. Abul Hossain, President, Kurmitola High School and College, Dhaka.
Mr. Rathindra Nath Das, Honorable Executive Director, and Principal, Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI), expressed his gratitude to the students of DTI for this remarkable achievement and gave best wishes to all of the employees of DTI.
