DIC celebrated the 49^th Independence Day by recalling the millions who laid down their lives, while many others sacrificed in many ways to free the country from pakistani clutch. The program started with recitation from Holy Quran followed by National Anthem, discussion and cultural events. Teachers and the students participated in the cultural events wearing red and green outfits. Tribute was made to commemorate the liberation war heroes. Principal Lt. Col. Md Zahirul Islam (Retd) recited the poem “Batashe Lasher Gondho” written by Rudra Mohammad Shahidullah which enhanced the gravity of the program.
