Victory Day observed in DIS
The largest fight for the people of a nation is the fight for independence. The Liberation War of Bangladesh is a symbol of the immense victory of good against evil.
DIS celebrated National Victory Day on Sunday, 15 December 2019 to commemorate the victory of the Bangladeshi freedom fighters over the Pakistani forces.
The occasion was marked by the enthusiastic participation of the students of Daffodil International School. It was a great honor to have valiant freedom fighter Rotarian S.M.Nazimuddin as the Chief Guest at the event. Dr Md Mahmudul Hassan, Principal and Dr Md Masudur Rahman, Vice Principal of DIS, also had their valuable presence. Members of the Interact Club of Daffodil International School also had their participation in anchoring, volunteering and other aspects to boost their leadership skills. On the occasion, the school premise was colorfully decorated and the history and significance of victory day were depicted through splendid cultural activities.
