Daffodil International School (English Version) arranged an online Bangla language competition

Daffodil International School (English Version) arranged an online Bangla Language Competition on account of 21st February to observe the significance of International Mother Language Day and promote cultural and linguistic awareness among the students. The competition was held in four categories (poem recitation, handwriting, reading, and documentary preparing competitions).  Students who hold 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, were awarded prizes and certificates.

The competition was held on 18th February 2021 and the result was announced on 21st February 2021. The program was inaugurated by Ms. Zakiya Sultana with an enlightening speech. Honorable Principal Dr. Md Mahmudul Hassan has shared a very thoughtful and manifesting speech regarding the significance of 21st February. A documentary on the history of the Language Movement was shown to the students. There was a short cultural program where two poem recitations and one song were performed by students and teachers. After that, the result was announced and students shared their excitement and gratitude for arranging such a program. The program ended with a promise to respect the language martyrs and spread love towards our mother language.

We are very proud of the spontaneous participation of the students in the 21st February program which shows their respect for the Language Martyrs.
