Daffodil International School (DIS) observed the International Mother Language Day on the 21st February 2019 at its permanent campus.

The event started with homage to the great martyrs which was followed by an educative welcoming speech by Dr. Masudur Rahman, Vice Principal. Later on, a cultural segment was held by the students and teachers. Moreover, an Art Competition amongst the students was also took place based on the origin of Bangla Language and the sacrifice of the great martyrs who gave their lives fighting for our beloved Mother Language.

The event ended with an award ceremony for the winners followed by inspiring and educative speeches from Dr Mahmudul Hassan, Principal, Dhaka; Mrs. Rahima K. Mirza, Senior Vice Principal; Dr. Masudur Rahman, Vice Principal; and Mrs. Zakia Sultana, Assistant Vice Principal, DIS.
