DIS students achieves Daily Star Award 

O-level students Tanzim Zaman (7 A’s), Rabeya Boshree (5 A*s, 7 A’s) and Abdullah Al Galib (4 A*s, 2 A’s) were the proud achievers from Daffodil International School in the Daily Star Award.

The Daily Star held its 21 years of saluting the nation builders of tomorrow for O’ Level and A’ Level awards ceremony at the packed Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

Daffodil International University was the academic partner of this programme. A total of 1,504 O’ Level achievers who got six A’s and 484 A’ Level achievers who got two A’s were hailed for their hard work and dedication. 

Dr Md Sabur Khan, the founder and chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University, Mr. Mahfuz Anam, the editor and publisher of The Daily Star, Professor Dr. Muhammed Zafar Iqbal, Bangladeshi science fiction author, physicist as well as other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

As The Daily Star honoured students who achieved extraordinary marks in their O’ Level and A’ Level exams for the 2018-19 session, at its award-giving ceremony, one common dream seeped through the hall – these youngsters would build the Bangladesh of tomorrow.
