New Modern Media Lab for the students of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication (JMC) of Daffodil International University was inaugurated yesterday on 29^th February 2020. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University inaugurated this latest technology based Media Lab at 4^th floor of Daffodil Tower. This Media Lab has been set up for practicing purpose of latest television technology and digital media concept of the students of JMC. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of the university, Mominul Haque Majumder, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Engr. A K M Fazlul Haque, Registrar, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Faculty of the Department of JMC, Professor A M M Hamidur Rahamn, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Mr. Syed Istiaq Reza, Chief Editor of Gtv.

After the inaugural session a talk show titled ‘JMC Khola Mon Khola Janala’ has been recorded moderated by Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of JMC.

While addressing at the inaugural ceremony Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said that student’s involvement with latest technology have to be more increased as per demand of the age. For this reason teachers should have taken initiative to increase student’s engagement with modern and latest technologies to keep pace with the latest developments of modern and digital journalism and this modern equipped lab will help the students to get practical learning experience during their study period, he added
