Amid a highly-spirited and vigorous environment, Daffodil International School- English Version has successfully organized Extempore Speech Competition 2020 The Final Round of the competition was held on 19th September. Focusing on student’s mental health DIS EV has arranged this event, in association with English Language Club (ELC).

The program was held online. The selection round of the event was held on 16th September. Selected students from three groups participated along with their classmates, friends and respected teachers who cheered them up. Total  three groups (Based on Ages & Level) took part in that round. The two hours’ program was opened by Mahathir, student of class 10 and followed by the speech of our honorable Principal  Md Mahmudul Hassan. He gave a brief  on the benefit of the public speaking and encouraged the students to participate in such events more often. Later, honorable VP, Ms. Zakiya Sultana has welcomed the students for beginning the lively event. Next, the students engaged in exciting speech and gave the judges a hard time to choose the winners as all of them were very talented.

The students also enjoyed an insightful documentary on wild life during the session. Then the final result was announced by our honorable VP.  The proud winners of the programs are below:

Group A (Champion- Kifayat Asfee Abdullah, class- 1, 1st Runner up- Umaiza Zafar, class- 2, 2nd Runner up- Aumolin Rowdro Amitabh, class-2)

Group B (Champion- Zuairya Mahfuz Haque, class-3,1st runner up- Alvina Sadat, class-4, 2nd runner up- Ariba Hasan Raina, class-5)

Group C (Champion- Nayeem Ibn Lutfor, class- 7, 1st runner up- Tarek Iqbal, class- 7

2nd runner up- Ayon Mujtaba Ali, class -8). The event ended up with a joyful celebration virtually.
