A day-long spring celebration and traditional Pitha Utshob held at Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) own premises on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 to celebrate the Pahela Falgun. The students and teachers of DTI organized the festival. Mr. Rathindra Nath Das, Executive Director inaugurated the program by expressing solidarity with the students. Different stalls displayed more than 30 varieties of traditional winter-cake including bhapa, chitai, pakan, pati sapta, Dudh Kuli, Roshpakan, Khrepakan, Adipakan, Apple Pitha, Naru Pitha, Dim (Egg) pitha, Tara Pitha, Puli Pitha, Semai Pitha, etc. Among others Mr. Moazzem Hossain, Deputy Director, Mr. Md. Aoulad Hossain, Senior Assistant Director and Dr. Abdus Salam Chowdhury, Academic Adviser and teachers-students and officials were present in the festival.

In order to make the event memorable, books have been awarded to the best results achieving (4 out of 4) students. And the first to fifth place holders were rewarded for serving & displaying best cake in this festival.
