Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Daffodil Institute of IT has inaugurated a practical lab for providing practical knowledge on the front office, housekeeping, food and beverage service, juice bar as well as food and beverage production. Daffodil Institute of IT believes that hands-on laboratory experiences are essential to ensure the required competencies among the students. Therefore set up the Lab to develop the employability of the students. A launching ceremony was organized where Professor Dr. Md Afjal Hossain, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Dhaka, was present. The program was also graced by the presence of some special guests;  Dean curriculum of National University; Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO, Daffodil family, Professor Dr. Mostofa Kamal, Advisor, Daffodil Institute of IT. The Honorable Principal of DIIT led the inauguration ceremony along with the Department Head, and faculties of Tourism and Hospitality Management  All the guests highly appreciated this outstanding work and mentioned the significance of having a great lab to build skilled manpower.
