The programming team of DIIT achieved the 1^st position among the institutes under National University in International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asian Dhaka Regional programming contest- 2019 on 16^th November 2019. Mr. Mohammed Shakhawat Hossain, Principal of DIIT congratulated the team, comprising Md. Asif Joarder & Appel Mahmud on this achievement. The Principal said that it is one of the glorious achievements of DIIT. He also expected that this achievement would be an inspiration for all students of DIIT to participate in such type of contest in future.

Among the selected 194 participating team in Bangladesh, DIIT programming team achieved the 44^th position among all universities in Bangladesh.

ICPC is a great, worldwide prestigious programming contest. Each year, ICPC programming contest is organized among the selected teams regionally all over the world.
