The orientation of Online Foundation Class

The orientation of “Online Foundation Class” for newly admitted students of Diploma-in-Engineering, 2020-21 session at Daffodil Institute of IT, Chattogram was held on August 10, 2020.

Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Tanvir Shahriar Rimon, CEO, Ranks FC Properties Ltd., and Md. Shah Newaz Mazumder, Head of Operation, Daffodil Institute of IT, Chattogram were present as the special guest. The event was presided over by Md. Faruque Islam, Principal of Daffodil Institute of IT, Chattogram. The program was hosted by Md. Mushiur Rahaman, Instructor of Civil Department, Daffodil Institute of IT, Chattogram.

The chief guest highlighted the various opportunities of the Daffodil family for the students in the field of education in his speech. He emphasized, studying is not just about getting a degree or getting a job; students should develop themselves as a genuine person with moral character. He opined that the students who made admission decisions to Daffodil are the right decision.

Special guest Eng. Tanvir Shahriar Rimon highlighted the importance of technical education in the 4th generation industrial revolution for students and appealed to apply it to all levels of society through technical education. He said as soon as we enter the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the 5th generation industrial revolution will come soon. He applauded Daffodil for the initiative it has taken to expedite technical education.

Md. Shah Newaz Mazumder said that there is no alternative to technical education for students to become self-reliant. He also mentioned about the position of our alumni at home and abroad and their contribution to national development.

In his concluding remarks, the respected Principal of the Institute highlighted the benefits of institutional activities and Online Education services to the students. Daffodil Institute of IT currently took the initiative of foundation class which will provide basic knowledge and ideas about the course and will give them a chance to acquire knowledge to keep one step ahead from others. He mentioned the government of Bangladesh planned to improve the rate of technical education to 50% by 2050. He expressed the hope that technical education would be taken forward by cooperating with all.
